Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion Strategy

SKALA’s Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) strategy shapes SKALA’s national and subnational engagement by ensuring that interventions are guided by a comprehensive analysis of gender, disability, and social inclusion within Indonesia’s socio-cultural, economic, and political context.

It integrates targeted interventions for vulnerable groups with broader programmatic efforts and identifies strategic entry points and interventions within SKALA’s pillar engagement strategies to ensure a multi-track approach that is complementary and mutually reinforcing.

The strategy highlights the importance of fostering partnerships across DFAT-funded programs and international development agencies to create synergies and prevent duplication.

It also emphasizes the core principles and values that guide the team’s behaviour and attitudes in developing and implementing interventions related to its nine intermediate outcomes.
