Papuan Information System (SIO Papua) Strengthens Beneficiary Data for 14,000 New Homes
The Papuan Information System (SIO Papua) is now the main reference for the Papua Provincial Government in determining the beneficiaries of the National Strategic Project to build 14,000 decent homes, which will run until 2030. Through village-based data collection carried out directly by local cadres on a ‘by name, by address’ basis and cross-referenced with the National Single Social and Economic Database (DTSEN), this system ensures that housing assistance reaches those most in need. Bolstered by Papua Governor’s Regulation No. 61 of 2024 and technical support from SKALA, SIO Papua is strengthening data governance through the ‘One Data Indonesia’ approach as the foundation for fairer and more targeted development planning and basic services in Papua.
