Learning Notes: The Dynamics of Governance Improvement in Aceh

The Government of Aceh has undertaken various strategic initiatives to strengthen data governance through the implementation of the One Data Aceh program and the development of the Gampong Information System (SIGAP). These efforts are supported by a strong regulatory foundation, increased human resource capacity, and the integration of various data platforms such as Open Data Aceh, DataWarga, and PINTU. In addition, collaboration with universities through the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) and Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) also strengthens program implementation at the local level. The approach strategy applied includes synergy, collaboration, and consolidation between stakeholders to build commitment and a common vision in data management. The results of these efforts are marked by a significant increase in population data integrated in SIGAP, which contributes to more accurate and targeted development planning and budgeting at the village to provincial levels.
