Aceh Synergy: A Model of Government-University Collaboration to Advance One Data Aceh

The collaboration between the Aceh Government and the Statistics Study Program at Syiah Kuala University (USK), supported by the SKALA Program, is an example of good practice in accelerating the implementation of Satu Data Aceh. This initiative addresses the challenge of limited human resources while aligning with Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 5 of 2024 on the Single Data System for Domestic Governance (SDPDN), which requires local governments to disseminate and utilize data, including statistical processing results. Through an internship program, USK students are directly involved in data cleaning, validation, migration, and processing. This involvement strengthens data management capacity in the region and supports the development of more accurate, responsive, and evidence-based public policies.
