Paving the Way for Inclusive Basic Services in Maluku

Earlier this year, SKALA held a Provincial Program Committee Meeting, chaired by the Regional Secretary of Maluku, Bapak Sadali Ie. The meeting emphasised the importance of the SKALA Program in supporting the province in public financial management, minimum service standards, gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and data utilization in planning and budgeting.

He added that despite the challenges encountered in delivering basic services in the region, the Maluku Provincial Government is committed to overcome the obstacles of low accessibility and connectivity. Furthermore, the implementation of the SKALA Program in Maluku since September 2023 is deemed as a significant step towards achieving this goal.

With strong synergy and collaboration, the Maluku Provincial Government hopes to accelerate basic services provision, especially for the poor and vulnerable.
