Better Systems – Improved Governance: SIKD and The Aceh Special Autonomy Fund, Advancing Transparency, Efficiency, and Accountability through Integrated Systems
The Aceh Government is now implementing a new management system for Special Autonomy Funds (Otsus) through the Regional Financial Information System (SIKD) to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and accountability in regional financial management. This step ensures that all stages of Otsus Fund management, from planning, budgeting, distribution, to reporting, are carried out in a single integrated system with a digital audit trail. With system interoperability and more open access to information, the Otsus Fund distribution process can be monitored in real-time and measured, so that fiscal policies are more targeted and the community can feel the benefits directly. This implementation is an important step in strengthening the governance of sustainable development in Aceh that is responsive to public needs.
